When I was a little boy I loved to go outside and play around in the backyard. All by myself. With my friends. With my big sister. I didn’t care. Outside was my peace point in the summer months. (So much so that on more than one occasion, I found a plank of wood with a nail in it… 😬)
Much to my mother’s chagrin, the burning sensation of hydrogen peroxide on my foot was not enough to keep me from playing outside any chance I could.
Then I grew older.
And for some reason I stopped playing outside. This went on for most of my 20’s. You know the drill…
Life took over. I was a career man. Working at the gym granted, I was active, but getting out to the mountains or just playing around outside was a hot commodity.
Sound familiar?
Grounding is the first Sonic Code. Here’s why.
In these unprecedented times, our attention is constantly being hijacked by screens, EMFs and toxins that seriously hamper our ability to be human. Social media, the mainstream news, bluetooth, normalization of “being on” 24/7… in North America, anyway.
The result?
Super stress levels. Angry people everywhere. I call it “3D…”
Disease. Divorce. Depression.
Everyone seems to be sick, sad and single…and nowadays, we’ve got more diagnoses than a toddler with a Sharpie in a hospital chart room.
There’s another way though. And I started writing music to help us humans be kind again.
Today, I invite you to take a listen to my Grounding Playlist and go talk to a tree with your bare feet in the grass. If you take a picture and share it here, bonus points.
Fact is, we are made of energy. We all got a certain “Vibe”, right? That’s short for vibration… so go get yourself some higher vibes and smile at that stranger on the street. Ask them what the highlight of their day has been. Turn them on to being kind too. That’s how we get out of this dilly of a pickle. It starts with your soundtrack.
Chat at’cha next time. xo
