E10 | How to Be Radio Ready EVEN If You're Just Starting Out

With Logan Middleton of X929 PM

Ever wonder how to craft a juicy email that’ll get you in the door? Ever wonder how some bands just seem to get on every stage that you want to play? Ever wonder what a radio programmer is REALLY looking for in your press release?

We went to town on this and so much more last weekend right here in Calgary with the one and only, Logan Middleton of X929 FM with a packed house of local talent, itching to get the goods on how to break the radio circuit as an indie artist.

We had a lot of fun going back and forth with the bands in the audience and gained valuable peer-to-peer insights throughout the whole event.

The only surprise was the amount of leftovers from what I would have assumed to be a room full of hungry musicians… We ended up leaving them for the Pokemon kids playing next door jamming out the whole time. It was a good time for all of us.
